I organized an art therapy program at my school. I took inspiration for the maker space at a neighboring school. I first started by meeting with the social worker intern. We then decided on a goal and how we planned to executive it. I met with the retired executive director of taproots art school in St. Louis MS where she gave me curriculum to use and other resources. I then had to write up a proposal and decide on the first few projects we would do and how they tied into mental health and expression.
