      I Believe students should guide there learning to make them more engaged. Students should be allowed to follow their passions and explore careers and whats out there. No kid is going to learn effectively if the are just sitting in a class doing nothing. You have to let kids explore thats the only way they will learn. I never thought i would want to be a teacher i was the kid in class who teachers Hated. If i even showed up to class i was disruptive and disrespectful. But one teacher Allowed me the freedom to chose, I did an art project instead of a report. I learned and read at my own pace so i didn't get bored... It meant i had a lot of free time cause i got everything done but with that free time i was allowed to pursue art. I want to be like those teachers i want my students to learn the material at their pace and then any extra time to work on a passion or hobby. I feel that to often we push grades over character we demand students to memorize lines about formulas but then allow those students to bully others. We should allow students to build character and work on hobbies and passions instead of pushing them to get a good letter grade.
