Collages
Collages are easy and fun to make
it can be some what messy but for the most part its an easy stress free activity. You can even tie it into teaching! You can use it in science have students research an animal then have them make a collage of it on the front then write facts on the back side of the collage. You can use it in English have students fold paper and staple it to make a book
then allow students to make a collage on the front with pictures of the characters in a story. Now you have an easy character journal for them to do writing assignments about the book.
Scratch Art
Scratch is a programming website for kids where they can easily learn the process of coding. You can draw little characters to program. You can add this to any aspect of teaching. It teaches kids programming and coding as well as letting kids be creative due to the drawing aspect. You can use it for science projects, English presentations, you can use to show off math skills. Its very versatile and easy to use I strongly recommend this website.
Create A Character
You can print out worksheets that show empathy models you can have kids draw characters relating to what their learning ex. Lets say you're reading a book in English you can have them make there own character and have them describe what they're role would be in the story. Or you could have them make character charts then have them right a story based off of that.
